WHAT DOES A TREATMENT WITH THE MESO PEN FEEL LIKE?

During the treatment there is generally minimal discomfort. The needle depth and electroporation settings on the Meso pen can be adjusted to customise every treatment according to your needs.

 

Topical anaesthetics can be applied if necessary, which will be discussed during your consultation.

 

Small needle clusters penetrate in to the skin and break up old collagen strands, and stimulate a wound-healing response, which in turn leads to the production of new collagen and elastin.

WHAT SKIN CONCERNS CAN MICRO NEEDLING WITH MESO PEN TREAT?

Unlike some other more invasive skin treatments, medical micro needling is safe to use on all skin types, all skin colours, and all ages. Here are just a few examples of what we can treat:

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED TO SEE RESULTS?

Results can be seen after one treatment, but for the best results that have a long-lasting effect, we recommend a course of 3-6 treatments for the face, and up to 8 treatments for the body.

WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT AFTER MY COURSE?

 

Most people will see a an improvement 2-3 weeks after the first treatment. Results are natural but significant and will continue to improve. Your results will peak at 12 weeks following your final treatment.

WHAT ABOUT DOWNTIME?

 

Virtually none. Gone are the ‘old days’ of causing trauma to the skin with excessive needle depths. We can achieve the results we are aiming for at much shorter needle penetration. 

 

Some redness and possibly swelling can occur immediately after your treatment, and we can relieve this for you by using our Dermalux LED light treatment at the end of your treatment, which will calm your skin.

 

Most people recover quickly, with any redness or swelling subsiding within a few hours. You should be fully recovered within 24 - 48 hours.

HOW SHOULD I CARE FOR MY SKIN FOLLOWING TREATMENTS?

You will be provided with a home-care post-procedure pack, with instructions on how to care for your skin on your return home, and for the following few weeks.
